    New bloodline for my breeders

Well I picked up 5 new weanlings this week to add some new blood into my colony. I ended up with 3 Siamese- 2 are also dumbos and one is also a rex. The other 2 are also rex/dumbos. I have them all in a quarentine area for the next month, the look/act healthy but want to be safe just in case. I tried to take some pics but it is HARD to take pics of little rats who want to get into everything! Here are a couple that turned out not so blurry.

This is Cinnamon, the dumbo Siamese

Wow...great looking babies you have there. I love Himi's (Dumbo ones especially).

If you don't mind sharing where did you get them from? Breeder?

Re: New bloodline for my breeders

I got them from a breeder who breeds rats, ASFs, guinea pigs and mice. She was an hour drive each way away from me though so it won't be worth the drive for weekly food . I have at least 3 girls who are preggers right now though and should drop in a week or so. Then I have 5 more girls who are up to size and will be put in with a male shortly. The other 15 girls should be ready to go in about a month and the newest will be a couple months.

If anyone is interested in Dumbos, Rex or Siamese and are within driving distance of Columbus, I would be more than happy to let a few go once they do start producing.
