AWESOME good pics of my babys! DU MURDER!

i love caution & savannas colors, what do you think of them? I was waiting to get some good ones of them once they settled in a bit, the set up is working awesome, i think caution might have even bulked up a bit (maybe a little, he sure is holding on tighter when i hold him though) the humidity came down 10% (were at 84% now) just by putting in a smaller bowl (it even has more water than before) were running about 78 degrees (the enclosures were open for a bit while i held them, now i know to make sure and keep them closed even while i hold them) UTH temps are at 91 & 98 (eek.. working on that one)

    anyway here are the pics!

    caution (x2 pics)

    savanna (x2 pics)

    remy

    emmie

    ms big ears (per elliott)

i guess they are hooded rats? no idea.. cute though! kids love them

and a savanna pattern pic for good measure

HOLY SMOKE!! anyone know how to resize those? sorry!

    Did someone say resize? =D

Sorry if the quality went down. That's what happens when you use a crap computer to resize pictures, LOL! Well here you go.

    Awesome snakes Ashley,

Keep tweaking those enclosures they're a pain at first but once you have it set all you have to worry about is cleaning.

I had no problems with the picture size. I run at a high resolution because I'm all about quality too

Well some lose it as they mature from hatchlings, some don't or do only to a degree - never really like that first baby blush look though. Really just depends on the snake.

OoOOo, That makes sense.. i didnt think he was that young, i know hes a bit younger than savanna though, their size difference says alot. i do think hes looking better though.

what do yo uthink of our pet rats? are they hooded? just curious. they sure are lovey. i didnt know how to make them calm down a bit (they are nervous i think.. big couple days!) i have been holding them for a few minutes at a time once or twice since they got home.. guess i should post this in the alt. pets thanks everyone!

Re: AWESOME good pics of my babys! DU MURDER!

Well I'm not a rat pattern/coat color expert by any means but I think Remy is an Agouti Hooded, Emmie is a Cinnamon Hooded and Miss Big Ears I'm not so sure from that pic. Maybe a Beige Hooded but it's hard to tell from that face on pic. If she's got white with a hood and stripe that is sort of honey colored she's a Beige Hooded most likely, though her eyes look pink and my beige's always have ruby eyes. Hoodeds are one of the most common coat patterns you'll see in pet shops. Usually lovely rats...I adore our Hoodeds.

Btw even though I know these girls are pets not feeders, you'll find literally tons of great rat care info and stickies on colors and patterns in the Feeder forum. A lot of us that breed rats for feeders really enjoy our rat colonies (or mischiefs as I guess they are properly termed LOL).
