Unhappy Poor Jinx, we're off to the vet.

Jinx did something last night that left him not being able to realign his bottom jaws correctly. His jaw scales are all bent up too. He's been going spastic all day trying to fix them. He's been rubbing on everything in his tank, yawning, rubbing all over me, etc. Poor guy!! I hope it isn't anything that can't be fixed. I was hoping I would be told to "come right in" when I called this morning, but we have a 3:45 appointment.

Please say a little prayer or something for him since he is my favorite and first snake and yeah I hate seeing him like this. I just hope it's fixable!!! He just keeps looking at me like "Ma.... fix it, help me, do something...!!!"

He's got me all kinds of worked up and upset!

Off to the vet we go. I'm crossing everything and hoping he's going to be ok.

he may have some shavings stuck in there.

Prince my RTB does that sometimes and it takes him a lil while to get it worked back out.

and he looks just like that when he does it.

    I wouldn't worry too much.

let us know what the vet says though!

    good luck!

Just got back. The good new is: Jinx is fine!

I'm still not to sure how it happened but after an x ray to make sure nothing was broken and a little bit of a jaw massage and a popsicle stick my vet was able to help him get his jaws back in line. His scales are fine now too and he didn't have any aspen blocking anything. So I'm happy and Jinx like always was a super trooper and put up with everything.

I think for once he is happy to be back in his tank. He's been chilling just like that since I put him back in there.

    Hi,

I'm glad it was nothing serious and he's back to being his old cute faced self.

Though bizzarely in the bottom pic in the first post he bears an uncanny resemblance to one of my grandfathers.

Good to hear that he is ok! I've had that happen a couple of times with my corns. First time I freaked, but every time after that they always got it back into place. Usually by doing a couple of "yawns".
