    I'm worried!

Well first of all, I got MY first ball python and he just ate his first live pinky like a day or two ago... And my mom decided to show our guests(without my permission) my snake, compared to our other ball python which is much larger. Well, the larger one just ate like a week ago and mine just ate the other day and I'm really worried! They were both rolled up in balls and my mom didn't unwrap them but I'm still concerned, should I be? Will they be fine? From what she told me she didn't mess with them. Just held one in each hand then put them back. And I know your not suppost to hold them for several days so that it can all digest. How long should I wait in any other case?

    Thank you!!!

    Re: I'm worried!

24 hours is the rule...personally I've held both of mine the day after feeding them and never had any problems. The real danger is holding them 5-6 days later, when they could give you a poopy present...

I wouldn't worry about it, personally.

Its a rule of thumb but not something to be too worried about, on the rare occasion they do get handled. I'm sure they will be fine. It's awesome that your so concerned though.... more new keepers should be like you.
