    Bark in Snakes in Side of Mouth

    Today i notice a bark inside my snakes side mouth my brother tryed pulling it and it won't come out, and plus my snake keeps jerking his head. What should i do?

    well my bro got it out, and hes not bleeding or any thing he had some stuff that looked like slobber on the pice of bark that came out, should i play it safe and make vet vist my bro who has a cuple bp's said he should be fine but said i shoud ask to make sure

    If the snake appears normal and there was no blood then it's probably not necessary to see a vet. Just keep a close eye on your snake over the next couple off weeks and if anything seems out of the ordinary then a vet visit might be in order. Things to look for are a misaligned jaw, excessive yawning, drooling, or problems eating.

    Also, make sure to keep the cage exceptionally clean (especially his water bowl) to prevent infection in case his mouth did get scratched.

    cool thx hes a new snake and hasnt eatn yet so i probly will wait an extra cuple of days befor feeding
