I hate July and January too!

January isn't as bad since I only have the second half of my property tax bill due on the house and no car taxes. July is the month I hate. I have the property tax bills for each car plus the half yearly bill for the house.

$2508 for the half year house tax
$274 for one car and $191 for the other.

CT bites. Sales tax, State income tax on top of the Federal income tax and high town taxes.

Someone needs to give the middle class person a break (a real one not these so called tax breaks Congress passes).

i hear ya... we've got our property taxes due on the 16th ... yuck.

Renting/caretaking a the farm does not seem so bad.. taxes for property are Not something that we look forward to..

Our taxes are taken out of escrow so we don't have to write that check in one lump sum...thank goodness!
