Rat Breeder Recommendations? S. Florida
I'm hoping for a little help. I'm looking for a local rat/mouse breeder in Southeast Florida (Ft. Lauderdale-West Palm Beach area) to purchase feeders from. Anyone living in this area who could make recommendations?
I'd like to find someone local so that I could just go and pick up frozen orders. I'm definitely not interested in breeding my own feeders at this point, my collection doesn't warrant doing so yet.
I've checked out all the major names, rodentpro.com, miceonice.com, etc but on the other hand I'm always a supporter of the small business guy (or gal) and if there is someone with a solid reputation in my area I'd like to consider using them.
In general, I've found out that recommendations are a great way to get direction. Any suggestions? Thank you for any input you might be able to provide.

You know, I keep forgetting about faunaclassifieds.com and their "good guy" certification. Thank you for reminding me.

I ended up trying out South Florida Rodents waaay out west Broward County. His rat pup sizes were really nice, I bought about 2 months worth of frozen snake treats. I didn't know much about them, but I thought I'd try a small operation a chance.
If you're out Sunrise and the Turnpike, they would probably be fairly close to you.
I think I'll try Lox Herp Hatchery the next round of food, just to compare the two.
