There's more experienced folks here that can help you with this... but I was wondering if you could clarify -- have you left the mouse in with him for 3 days, or tried feeding him for 3 days straight? And how long have you had the snake?

Re: my bp wont eat.
I hope you haven't left the mouse in the enclosure for three days. If this is the first time he hasn't eaten, no big deal. Just skip the feeding this week and try again next week. Also, try to use the search function here, there are many great threads on this subject. Good luck.

One other thing I forgot to ask. How's your husbandry? If the temps are off, or there has been a change in his home environment, that could be a problem.

no i havent left the mouse in there for 3 days straight i took it out. i would assume that the husbandry is fairly well his shed cycle went just fine and its never less than 85 degrees in my room in general. and i have had him for about 2 months or so

Re: my bp wont eat.
First if you offer a prey and your BP refuses you should not offer again before next feeding schedule 5 or 7 days depending how often you feed your BP
If you offer too soon after a refusal it will only stress your BP leading to more refusal.
Now BP do go off feed or do refuse food occasionally, as a keeper try to find out if there could be any reason why your BP could have refuse to eat.
What are your exact temps in the enclosure (cool side and warm side)?
What is the humidity?
Do you measure your temps and humidity with a digital device?
How big/old is your BP?
How big is his enclosure?
Is the enclosure in a low traffic area?
What kind of hide do you provide to your BP, are they tight with all sides touching is body, and identical?
How often do you handle your BP?

Re: my bp wont eat.
the temp on the cool side is about 83 and the warm side is a bit higher than that
the humidity is usually 65%-70% as for traffic its in my room but i do have 3 dogs that bark at almost everything.
i try to handle him as much as i can when im not busy and at home maybe 3 times a week.
so i waited to feed him again and he wouldnt eat.
but i noticed he is about to shed now so i figure ill try again when he is done with that.

Re: my bp wont eat.
When you say "a bit higher" on the warm side what exactly is a bit higher? A bit higher than 83 can be 86 which wouldnt be good. Your cool side looks good, your warm side should be 90-94.

Re: my bp wont eat.
Hi,
Well on the plus side your humidity is almost bang on for his shed so that's one worry down.
If he doesn't eat after the shed you might want to think about cutting back the handling and see if that makes any difference.
And , to echo everyone else, check the warm end temps in case they have dipped a little.
