VPI is actually over near San Antonio...a fair drive away from Houston, if you were looking for someone truly local. But....that being said, VPI is most awesome and I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them, even to the point of buying a snake without seeing even a picture of it first. There's only three breeders in the world that I would feel that comfortable buying from.

check out S&S Reptiles on 45 and beltway 8
Reputable breeder and baby balls are going for 15 bucks...
I recommend buying from someone who will take the time to sex and give you everything you need for the animal (like at S&S) rather than buying from an independent who is just trying to get rid of a snake. If the seller doesn't give you in depth info, do not buy from them. I learned that from personal experience....
