    Snakes Vision (UV & IR)

I am planning on putting a webcam in a vivarium with a Hog-Island Boa.

This will be a low-light environment so it will have ether UV or IR LED’s, can somebody tell me if she will be able to see/sense ether UV or IR and if it will have any long term effects on her?

Re: Snakes Vision (UV & IR)

UV and IR radiations are emitted from regular lightbulbs, so I don't see what the difference would be coming from an LED.
