I'm hanging around again...

Hey all! Good Lord, it's been a long time since I posted on here. I looked it up... the last time was back in February! Whoo... it's amazing how life can pick you up and run away with you!

I buried myself in work after the divorce... was literally working 70-80 hours a week at two jobs. And that was fine for awhile. I went home and crashed every night and didn't have to think about anything. But, you know, you can only do that for so long. I started missing my friends, started hanging out with them again, started living again...

Anyway, things are pretty good right now. I've actually just moved! I got a great job in Indianapolis. I'm working for Defender Direct, Inc as their Event Coordinator. It's great fun, and perfect for someone like me. The people are great and I get to travel a bit... what could be a better?

I still have Kinky and my little Bull Snake Tristan... as well as my crestie. And my beta fish. And my cat. Lol... the little managerie wasn't happy about the move, but we're all settling in okay. I'll post some pics up soon for all you folks.

Anyway, just wanted to let all my old posting buddies know that I'm still around and hanging in there... and that things are going pretty well. Hope all your lives are going great too, and I'll be seeing you!

I am glad you're back and doing well I was wondering where you were. I hear you about working.. heck, I only work 40 hours a week at my real job, and That seems tough! 80.. woah..

Oh it's good to hear you are happy, settled and working a job you love Lynn! I haven't been to Indy in years but I remember they have a pretty nice zoo there (typical me, that's all I remember about that city LOL). Make sure you drop by here more often girlie!

Jo, Indy is a lot lke Columbus in many ways... kind of a home-town feel even though it's a big city. Plus, I'm only about 45 minutes away from where I grew up and my family (as opposed to 2.5 hours!). So I'm getting to see them quite a bit more than I have been the last five years or so. Things just kinda worked out the way they were supposed to, I guess.

And yes, the zoo here is pretty great! I've been a few times, when I was younger... and I'm taking my best bud when she comes to visit.
