Arrow Hmmm Humidity and Building Question...

Well as you guys can tell I plan on building some cages in the future. I have a quick question though regarding cornsnake humidity during sheds and melamine habitats.

Since I use a humid hide for my corns, would I need to seal a melamine enclosure?

I read in a previous post on here (past post...in search feature...w00t), that someone used contact paper to seal their melamine cage and the caulked the edges. So I might just do that with all of 'em I want to build.... Hopefully that'll keep the humidity out.

So I guess I answered my own question...I guess I am just looking for someone to confirm it.
