people keep telling me to get on myspace... so i have. but i have no idea how to make the page different colours etc.

anyone willing to give me a link for some assistance? cause my page is super boring.

I would look up myspacesupport.com they have plenty of pre-made layouts, ut if you wanna make your own you can scroll down to tools and use the 'myspace generator' they have. There is also a new way you can do it from the 'edit profile' link on your myspace. however if you use mozilla, don't even try, it's not supported. lol. If you use i.e. then look for where it says 'fantastic four editor' or something along those lines from the 'edit profile' menu.

i go to www.hotfreelayouts.com and find one i like then copy the code and paste it into ur profile. easy as pie! there's also a million other things you can do with yur page. if u wanna check mine out, myspace.com/pythonprincess. have fun!

Technically it's CSS for styling.

I absolutely hate myspace in terms of coding it yourself.. I am not allowed to use the "#" symbol at all. Instead of assigning classes or IDs to all their tables, I have to dig through the code and figure out which table I need to style and hope that it doesn't affect other parts of my page that I don't want modified. I am not even allowed to use the embed tag?! It reformats it into an object tag and then breaks the music file I wanted to use that was not available on myspace.

It's doable, certainly, to style it yourself, but I found it a huge pain the neck. If you know how to write CSS and are interested in doing it for myspace, check this link out.
