"Horomonal Color Changes" in BPs?

I have heard and seen female ball pythons go through a change in color when they are gravid, I was wondering if any of these females keep their new brighter colors permanently, or if their colors change more and more with each breeding season. Something like "horomonal blue" GTP females that end up with permanent blue scales after breeding season has ended.

The ones that I have had that "glowed" ended up going back to their normal coloration afterwards.
