Last year at Daytona at the auction (it was a blast) I bid on and won 4 tickets to the St. Augustine Alligator Farm. Well, we finally got around to using them and we had a lot of fun.

Here at a few of the pics. Hope you enjoy them.

Feed me, feed me. They were crawling over each other to get to the food which looked like pre-killed jumbo rats. These were adults gators that were about 12 feet long.

I'm not a bird person, at least not in the house, but there were some really pretty ones on perches throughout the park.

This is a lousy pic that I had to take through the screen, but it wa so cute and only about 6 inches long as an adult.

This is an "Agouti"; it looked like a 20 pound rat. I've seen some burms and retics that would be licking their lips if they saw this guy.

This is the strangest croc I've ever seen. I hope you can see the snout - it's only about 3 inches wide with a big bulb on the end. It's called a "Gharial".

Another beautiful bird sitting there waiting for me to take his pic.

The feathers on this one were so bright red - he was really awesome.

Finally, the juveniles - these are about 4-5 feet long. Seems like there were hundreds of them.

They also had 2 albino gators but I couldn't get close enough to take pics with the crowds around them. They were a very pale white and they had to keep them in the shade all day or they would burn . . .

A little slice of Florida.
