Ginger; 1702g. Gaining weight after laying 8 eggs recently. She is my favorite and if I had to give up all but one, she'd be my keeper.

Now for Bela; a mere 1100g after dropping eggs tihs (last) week. In-shed.

Ginger has a story too "Stop me if you've heard this one befooore"
I bought her at the Western NY Herp show.. think it was.. 2003? Best part is, I paid $40 for her as an adult male! She was already topping 1500g at that time, and I later attempted breeding her with another snake that i thought was female.. turns out the sexes were mixed up, and Ginger laid the eggs.. pretty neat to get a breedable female for $40!

That's awesome!! *grin* What a great find!!! Congrats on that! Did her head fade out as she got older or was it like that already...? Do you have pics of her as a baby? Did any of her offspring turn out to have heads like that? She must be a big girl if she's 1700g after laying 8! Congrats on that, BTW!

I will be seeing her first offspring this year; the eggs last year went bad I bred her to my pastel, so we'll see what happens.
She did not seem to have as much of a faded head back then.. it really got faded when she become gravid his year, as many females "blush" during this time, she definately did.

Jen they look great. I love that haed on Ginger. I think they made have been said already, but I like it too. I hope SoCo will get busy this year and produce you some babies.
