    A little mystery

Why is it we get to be known as the "animal people"?
A friend is on the way over with a kitten *sigh*
She found a kitten she says "under 6 weeks old" in front of her apartment tonight. She's allergic, so there's no telling how old it actually is, she wouldn't really have a clue about cats. And of course, the first person she thought to call was me. Otherwise she'll take it to a shelter. Of course I can't say no

I do not need or want another kitten! But I will see if I can make sure it's in good health and find it a loving home.

I'm not sure there's any animal I could say no to rescuing.

    Re: A little mystery

    Well....
    It's a GIRL!

I'm not sure how old she is, but she was HUNGRY and covered in fleas. We gave her some kitten food and a flea bath. Jeff is trying to get her settled into a kennel for the night. She's a very talkative little baby.

My friend Kristin found her, but another friend of ours, Mary, was there too. Mary brought her to my place, knowing I have all the kitten supplies on hand. Mary rents a room at Rick's house (another friend of ours of 10+ years). Mary really wants the kitten, but we have to convince Rick to let her! We will all be at Kristin's birthday party tomorrow night, so we will be working on Rick. Mary would make a wonderful cat-mommy, so here's hoping!
