    Trouble with the eye caps

My balls body has all the old skin off but the eye caps and some of the head wont come off...she is very shy about her head being touched so what is the best way to get the eye caps off?

    Hi,

How long is it since she got the rest of it off? Do you know what the humidity is in her tank/tub at the moment?

Re: Trouble with the eye caps

    Hey,

Sadly rules that general never seem to hold up in real life.

It's always best to actually measure these things - the accurite weather stations for sale in walmart can record an indoor and an outdoor temperature and relative humidity so we recomend those a lot (think I read they run around $12.95) as if you put the outside probe in the warm end of the tank and leave the unit itself in the cooler end then you know exactly whats happening temp/humidity wise in your tank.

It might help identify why she has problems shedding if you tell us a little more about the set up you keep her in so we can suggest some ideas for her next shed?

For this one there is a really good sticky with lots of pictures and tips here that should help.

    Hi,

Glad to hear everything worked out well - even if the lil wriggler didn't enjoy the process.
