question about water bubbler
i have a bubbler from my old fish tank.
i read that putting this in my snakes water tub, it helps humidify the tank.
1. Is this true?
2. Will putting the bubbler in the water bowl scare my snake out of the tub?
Its an oval shaped tupperware tub about the size of your hand. I have the lid on it with a hole on the top, and another hole cut on the side of the tub.
3. If this doesnt work, how else can i easily keep my tanks humidity higher? ive been spraying the tank with water, which works but then the lamp evaporates the water and humidity drops again.
Any advice would be awesome.
Thanks!

Re: question about water bubbler
A bubbler isn't necessary. It might help increase the humidity, but it's very likely that the vibrations would disturb your bp. If you need to increase humidity try covering part of the screen of the tank, or use a waterbowl with a greater surface area. A humid hide would help was well.

Re: question about water bubbler
If possible switch to under tank heating. Those bulbs just dry out a tank so fast it's a losing battle.

Re: question about water bubbler
you can try a homemade humidifier, it worked for me. keeps my humidity between 55-60% day after day.
heres the link to set one up: http://www.ball-pythons.net/modules....warticle&id=53
hope it helps.
as for misters i think they are a waste of money. they run out of water fast and have to fill them up as much as you would have to mist the tank. try covering the top of the tank and the humidifier.
