he popped him right out of the box!
so it came to be the feeding day again and my bp sgt pepper was very hungry...
I got him a small rat and put sgt pepper in the bathtub
I put the rat, still in his little carrying box,in the bathtub as well
I watch sgt pepper creep up to the box and the rat was stickin his little nose out of the breathing holes
all the sudden sgt pepper starts wrappin around the box and since its a little cardboard box the lid popped open and he popped him right out of the box and immediatly struck him in the neck and proceeded to eat him after strangling him
it was really amusing and I wished I got it on video... maybe next time though

Just wondering, why not feed him in his tub/tank?

because eventually they will associate you opening the tank with feeding time and might try to bite you when trying to handle them not feed them so you're supposed to put them in somethin else

What Jamie is saying, is the snake associating your hand for food is a myth. Your snake actually might feel more comfortable eating in his own secure enclosure. It's actually less stress on the snake and owner. The snake doesn't have to put up with the handling taking him to and from the bathtub, and you don't have to watch him the whole time he eats so he doesn't escape. But if you want to keep doing this, go ahead, to each his own

From what I understand most people have found that unless the only time you are putting your hand in the cage, the snake isn't going to mistake you for food. If out of 7 days you reach in once a day to get the snake out, give it water, or whatever, there is only one time when your associated with food out of 7. As long as you don't smell like a mouse or rat when you reach in, they aren't going to mistake you for food. ^_^
