    offroad Jeepin' pics

Marky and I decided to go out back yesterday and test out the Jeep. It was great offroad!
I should add; we steer clear of the frog/salamander breeding pools when we go offroading.
    A few inside shots:

Marky at the wheel: watch out!

I drove most of the way back. I am still learning how not to slam into trees

    A little muddy?

Last week we took the Nismo back there; figured I'd add a pic

    Awesome pics!

I've been wanting to get one of the Wrangler Unlimited.

That looks like fun! I haven't done that in *years*.
I can't believe there are ferns growing wild like that. Even the most pampered house ferns here look sickly and sad here. Although if the rain keeps up like it has lately, we'll be a rain forest soon.

The day my truck dies I will be pulling in the drive with a Jeep. I thought I spent too much money on snakes, wait til I get one of those at my house. Can you say street legal on 40's?

    Thanks!
The best thing about a Jeep is, you can go have fun offroad; and then pull out of your driveway and go 70mph down the highway. I would lift this, but I want to keep it pretty stable for highway driving, especially since I will have my first winter of driving in snow this year.
We need rain! I am pretty wure that we are in certifiable drought conditions here.. Sarah, send those rain clouds up here! The ferns are awesome in the woods. I have tried many times to bing a few up and either put them in the moist part of my garden or pot them.. they always die
I should add.. backing into tight parking spots with this thing is a cinch! So easy to maneuver.. but residential turns, you have to go around 15-20 mph and seriously slow down.. don't wanna teach the jeep to roll over..

I'm not trying to hijack your thread or anything Genevive but I wasn't kidding when I said I wanted a Jeep. Just picked up a 2007 today.

Ahh; a JK..! People have mixed feelings about the new Jeeps b/c they are so different. personally; I understand that they have to change with the times. This is why my TJ evolved from the CJ models.
But my favorites of all are the CJs.. wow! I am buying mark one for his/our wedding present for sure.

I like the CJ7's but am a big fan of TJ's as well. If I can save enough, I might buy an XJ to have some fun with before my truck dies.
