    Re: Dish Network?

I just switched from Comcast cable to Dish network. The picture is clearer, I've got more channels and the price is cheaper. I haven't seen a downside yet.

    Re: Dish Network?

I love it. Its so much cheaper than cable and I get so many more channels. I think I have like 200 channels. Plus I get to watch all the UFC and Boxing I want

Lets just put it this way,

With cable, the service SUCKS. Not a whole lot of options and it cost me almost $120 a month for Highspeed internet and only about 60 channels.

With Dish I get about 200 channels, they teamed up with my telephone company so I get my phone service (which is awesome) and Dsl for $136.

    I am saving almost $60 a month.

Lately, we have had a TON of thunderstorms, lighting like you wouldn't believe and I haven't had one problem so far.

    Re: Dish Network?

I had a horrible experience with them and switched to DirecTV.
I had a DVR from them with known issues. The DVR eventually got so bad that it was unusable, which was happening to most of that model.
We were renting this DVR, and yet Dish wanted to charge me $60 an hour to come out and fix it. Even though they KNEW it was a bad model that they were renting to me!

I talked to them at least once a day for a week, trying to convince them to either replace their (known) bad equipment at no charge or I would cancel. A week after I cancelled (and signed a new contract with DirecTV), Dish called me back and wanted to re-sign me up with new equipment at no charge. Yeah, right! lol

I'll never deal with them again.
