Tank *water* divider??
So I've been trying to figure out what the best and easiest way to get a quarter or so of one of my tanks to be water, and have a divder between the water and the land.
Would I have to custom build such a divider or would I be able to purchase one?? I have yet to find one myself...
Im doing this for my Chinese Water Dragons so that they'll have more natural water in their area and such. Thanks!

I would buy a peice of plexiglass that is the width of your tank and section off however much you want to be water, at an angle sorta like a beach, then silicone it to water seal it.

So would I really need to get probably TWO pieces of that plexi, and make one at a angle, and one straight up where the land would be.?
But that sounds very cool to me

If you seal the plexiglass then pack dirt under the plexi for support and not worry about water seeping through...

Ah, thats what I was mainly worried about was the support issue, But I see what you're saying about building it up.
Thanks for the advice!!

Re: Tank *water* divider??
what your in essence creating is a non movable water bowl. Just dont forget to clean it out, so you might want to find a way to drain it easily come cleaning time.

of course many people just use aquarium gravel and make a land space and a water space using the gravel to create the land... i don't know if that type of substrate is appropriate for a water dragon though.
