Back to Back sheds?
I just got this little bp from the Pet Supermarket. He's cool, you can see pics in the pics section. Anyhow, when I got him he had little shed stuck on him, so I brought him home and soaked him and got it all off. The guy at the store said they'd just shed. I've had him a couple days, he hasn't fed for me, pooped once. This morning, I looked in and he's in the blue again. The guy didn't know his last feeding, but is it possible he shed, fed, pooed and went into shed again in a matter of days? Just seems like a hell of a cycle.

Re: Back to Back sheds?
I have heard of ball pythons going in to shed during periods of high stress, but I doubt that applies to your situation. Your snake probably shed about 3-4 weeks ago while in the pet store and they just let it go without the proper humidity. Pet stores are notorious for bad husbandry so buying a snake from one that has stuck shed on it is quite common. Make sure you give him the right humidity this time and he should shed just fine.

His tub's humidity is plenty high now, plus he's got a humid hide. Hopefully this one will come off in one piece.

I've had it happen with fast growing babies too. When i get a couple CH, they will be in or just had their first shed and after a few good ASF rat meals, shed again in a matter of days, a week at the most. In your case though, i agree with snakedude, He probably shed a couple weeks ago and they didn't want to admit that they didn't care to get the stuck shed off him.

That makes enough sense, thanks for the input!
