    New boy

    Day 2, he just came out to say hello, got a few pics!

    I don't know, and he's my first snake so I don't know if this is normal but if you click to the full size pics you can see that some of the skin near his head looks blue-ish, and I have no idea how old he is.

    Well congrats on your new baby!!! Being your first BP, I'd deffiently read over the care sheet here... proper humidity is key with those new hatchlings!
    You'll love BP's... great snakes to own!

    I read all that stuff a few weeks before I got him. I've got his environment setup perfectly now. I got some corrugated plastic together and set up some vents to get the humidity steady.

    WOW HUGE tank lol 40 gal? I like the setup alot of open space though for a lil guy.

    I noticed that he looked a little wrinkled. I keep the water full, and fresh. I don't know when he was fed last either.

    i've seen my girl drink from her bowl once but she loves drinking from the side of the tank walls or the plants i would mist and watch what your boy does.

    also my girl seems to drink the water right after she slams 2 mice down ill mist the tank and she will come out and drink off the side glass

    hope he eats for you too.

    Do you know when the last time he ate was?
