    Breeders

I'm looking for my first corn snake and I've been looking around for some reputable corn snake breeders. I've heard a lot of things about Kathy Love at Cornutpoia.com, but I would still like to look around a bit at some of the other breeders. Are there any that you guys would suggest buying from? I'm specifically looking for the bloodred morph, but I'm open for anything that has bright/high red coloration.

There are a few including Kathy Love. You can look up Serpenco.com or Cornsnakes.net. If you go to cornsnakes.com (the message board) and let them know what your looking for they can help you as well. That's all I can really think off the top of my head. It's still early in the hatchling season and there aren't many of the sites that are updated with there 2007 hatchlings yet. You might need to wait a few months.

I haven't ordered thru Kathy *yet*, but I've heard good things about her. If I had to choose I'd go thru her. She's pretty good at answering emails, so if you drop her a line and see if she has any bloodreds I am sure she'll let you know.

    Best of luck.

    Re: Breeders

i got both of mine from local breeders at a reptile expo. you should check and see if there are any show/expos in your area soon, then you can see all the different corns and make a decidion then. i was set on getting an anery corn but then i saw this maimi phase and it looked so good, i had to get it.

also try looking at the herpological socitey in your state or area. they usually can point you to some local breeders.

You could also try Moreptiles.com, I'm not big into cornsnake's, but I LOVE the lavender's and also snow's, because they keep good coloring into adulthood. Have you seen the lav's at all Kasi?

I've seen pics of the reg and the hypos. I would really have to see one in person though. I've seen a few snows in person and thought they were beautiful, but in some of the pics that I've seen of them they just didn't really stand out that much to me.
