    Shed ?'s...

Star started her shed process last night. The temps are perfect, 93/82/67% at the lowest. But, I checked in on her this morning and just her head shed. I am assuming this means shes going to shed in pieces. How long should I wait, until I assist? Should I soak her and then use a damp towel for her to run through? Not sure what to do, I have read several of the shed threads and any extra advise would help.

Mist her cage and give her a few hours. Sometimes they take a little longer to shed once they get started. If she seems to have a stuck shed after that, you can soak her or use the wet pillow-case method.

She started as in just went in to blue or started removing the skin.

If shes removing the skin. soak her for 5-10 minutes in a warm tub or water just deep enough water to cover 1/2 - 3/4 of the snake. Then gently start at the head end and start rolling it back work slow and gentle. If its not easy try soaking longer and repeat.

She started removing the skin last night. Just her head shed. There is some roughed up skin around her neck where her head shed broke off.

try the misting thing first but you might still have to soak her if it breaks up into peices.
