Angry Man, this is a first...

Today I received my package of what was supposed to be two high-gold subadult females. When I open the package, inside I find a 1200g+ female that is anything but high gold.

Sigh... I'm assuming someone else got my two females, so to say the least I'm not all that impressed (especially given what I paid). So... anyone else ever experience this one? Not only did I receive the wrong snake, I received the wrong number of them .

Did you contact the person you purchased them from?

If you don't mind me asking, who did you buy from?
And also, do you have the breeder/seller's contact info? I'm sure that if you talk to them they could give you a refund or ship you two other animals of the same quality. But I'm sorry to hear that man

Re: Man, this is a first...

See now I feel stupid. After posting this I went and checked on the big girl... and noticed she was moving two different ways. Turns out, the shipper put both in one bag, and the bigger female had completely wrapped the high yellow in her coils. Initially, when I took it out of the bag, it looked like one big girl. At least one of the girls is definitely high yellow... the bigger one definitely is not...

So new question... is this typical to get two snakes in one bag in a shipment? It's a first for me, I've ALWAYS received each in their own bag. To top it off... I was way off on the weights. Ahh... 9:30am and it's already been a long day .

Some people will ship two snakes in one bag. But its risky. I wouldn't buy again from some one that shipped me two in one bag. I mean their what .49 each when you buy them in bulk..

Exactly my thoughts... I had my reservations on ordering from the shipper. He is somewhat known in the lizard world, but BPs don't seem to be his "thing". It'll be the last time I deal with anyone I don't get a good reference from a BP breeder (a friend of mine suggested him).

Sigh... I'm just glad the bigger girl didn't constrict the smaller one to the point of death. Than I'd have a real beef. But they are both in their new homes and quite happy with it it seems, so I can't complain.

You are lucky it could have been way worse.

Some people do ship mutiple animals in the same bag which to me is a , just not worth taking the risk just to save 0.50$.
