    Second and Last Clutch :)

Well, Breth decided to start laying eggs early this morning. She finished around noon, so I got the eggs situated in the box, cleaned her up, and cleaned her tub. She laid six HUGE eggs, bigger than Miranth's. She went from 2200g down to 1505, so the eggs have a median weight of around 115g apiece. BIG babies hopefully

One question though, does it matter if one or two of the eggs rolled? Being in the early stages(just laid) I wouldn't think so, but I wanted to make sure. I candled them all and they all have good veins and are pink/red inside.

    Here's mum

Its possible that the eggs may die off.
Good luck, and i hope that doesnt happen.

If they rolled a little it shouldn't matter much, I think it's about 24 hours before they have a set orientation

Congrats Becky, and on the rolling thing I would not worry too much. A couple of our eggs that hatched this week had rolled before we could mark them. We set them up in the tub and marked the tops where we thought was close to how they had been, and all 7 hatched fine. One of the eggs rolled (substrateless incubation) about 20 days into incubation, and we just put it back with the x on top.

Thanks Since I caught her in the act(from number three until finished), it definitely hadn't been even 3-5 hours. Hopefully they will be fine. This girl is about 4 years old now and is a pretty short and compact little thing. She wasn't fat at all , even at her largest at 2200g. I'll take pictures of the eggs when I air them out next weekend. They are just HUGE, LOL.

Congrats Becky. I wouldn't worry about the egg rolling. It should be fine if stays motionless from here on out.

I post info that i have read in the past and get a negative point for it.
I wished luck and hoped it didnt happen, no harm done.
