    Sources of your BPs?

I was just curious as to where everyone got their BPs. I will start off

Ginger: I got her in 2003 or so from the WNY Herp Show. She was from a breeder named World of Reptiles or something like that. Missexed, sold as male, but laid eggs last year! pre-1999, was adult size when we bought her.

Luna: Got her as a gift from Cueball, our own member here, when last year's egg clutch from Ginger went bad. 2006 cbb girl hached by Cue

Bela: 2004 cbb female from Alex Hue, not a ch or cb.

Lily: We bought her recently from forum member HadesBP; she had to move out-of-state, and we lived nearby and took her in. 2006 girl also. Was 2006 cbb, WildFire Reptiles.

Ruger: Graziani Pastel that I picked up from the Sutherlands. 2005 cbb male.

SoCo: Bought from former member Ed Clark. Produced by John Courtney. 2006 cbb Spider.

Foxy: Taken in as a rescue last year. Background unknown female; she was a pet store find and is probably just a LTC.

Doc Bar: bought from a local breeder. 2006 ghost het, bought as a pet for a normal price. I won't sell him though he does not fit with my breeding plans. cbb, parents were seen by Mark.

    no longer with me:

LaVey: rescued male, pre-2005. Rescued from a pet store, sold to my friend. Doing well; I visited him(and friend!) last week.

Chimera and Ashes: Ashes was a Petco find years ago; Chimera was part of a rescue we did in which this guy had 3 bps living in a 55g tank with pine substrate. Both reside with forum member HadesBP

    Re: Sources of your BPs?

Lol, here's my short list, but it will be growing soon!
Isis- female BP bought at a small pet shop in OKC in december 2006. Since she was 1 out of easily 200 baby BP's that they had at the store, I think it would be safe to assume that she was a CH import, as they did not know the full background information. I have to say that she has the sweetest temperment that I've ever observed in any snake (or even reptile for that matter) and she has only skipped a meal once since i've had her.

Apollo- My male pastel from the NERD line. Bought him at the Oklahoma Reptile Expo from a guy out of Ft. Smith area TX named Sprocket. Although more 'jumpy' he's becoming more and more setteled down with each handeling session, and man does he have an appetite!

I lurve them both, and I've definately got the BP hook, so I'll be getting a few more once I get a rack set up!

    Re: Sources of your BPs?

Oh, fun idea for a thread!

    Emily- Local pet store

Elphaba- Got her from someone I found on the internet, but I think he only had the one clutch to sale, as his site is gone now

Liir- At a local expo from Sterling

Bonnie and Clyde- From Adam at 8 Ball Pythons

Trey- A gift hatched from Chris, aka Cueball

Christie- Snatched her out from under Lynn of Lynn's Bearded Dragons
Lynn had stuck her back behind the table, but Sprocket pulled her out for me!

Cinderling- Bought her at a local expo from Mike from Python In A Pear Tree
Really, she was a steal, though!

Tim- A gift from Noob Ecky!

Hiro- Another gift from Cueball...what a guy!

I think that was all of them...for now...

Sprocket is a pretty cool guy! I wouldn't mind buying from him again! I just wish that they put their BP's for sale up on their website =(

I got my '06 and '07 BP(along with all my other snakes) from John Stolz whos is a local breeder of a few different types of snakes...all of the others snakes he has are produced by his friends.
