    Handeling

Okay so ive had my baby ball python for a little more than a week and shes eaten for me once with no problems. Everything in her cage from what i can see is really good and i was gonna try and feed her again on tuesday. If she eats then good and i wait 2 days after she eats ill have had her for about 2 weeks. Do you think i could start handeling her then? or should i wait longer. I dont wanna cause problems by stressing her out cuz ive pretty much left her alone this whole time.

I would say that some gentle handling would be fine. Just keep an eye on her and if she starts to wiggle around a lot,(a sign of stress) put her back. I wouldn't keep her out for more than 20 minutes the first few times, but you can gradually increase handling time. Good luck!

    Re: Handeling

With my new arrivals I usually wait at least 2 weeks and a couple of good feedings before I even disturb let alone handle.
If you do handle I would keep it under 10 mins the first few times and then only a couple times a week. Over handling to soon will stress them out.
You want to get them on a good feed schd.
