Look in tight dark places starting around the enlcosure, under and behind the furniture, laundry basket, in between pillows etc

    Good luck on your search.

Balls love to hide. Check every nook and cranny around the room, especially in any areas that might be warm. If that doesn't work, you can set up a hide over an UTH and try to lure him in with a f/t mouse or rat by the hide. If the area has hardwood floors or tile, you can sprinkle it with flour to get an idea where he was heading. You can also try placing celophane or plastic bags around to hear when he moves through them.

    Good luck!

you can try putting flour down across a door way or along a wall, so if he/she passes through it they'll leave a trail...

you can also put a F/T mouse in a 2 liter pop bottle with a hole big enough to fit into, then when they eat they won't fit getting out.

they're usually like within a few feet of the cage..

We couldnt find one of our little ones for a while so we bought a live rat and put it in a cage on the floor by his cage and a couple days later we found him in the couch by the rat cage. Hope you find him.

Ball pythons like tight places. I heard of one that crammed itself behind the drawers in a desk. Have you looked there? Balls also like the dark, so look any where light cant get. Good luck! My fingers are Xed for u!

This sounds weird but try the laundry basket. Rei always goes there or the inside of the couch. also look around electronic gear, Compters, frig, or the dyer (Rei loves the dryer), anything that gives off heat.
    Good luck

Most commonly, your snake will be within 5ft of his cage. Start at the cage and move outwards into the room. Search EVERYTHING. Don't miss anything, even if you're SURE there is no way he could fit in it. Trust me, they can get into smaller spaces than you think!

Be careful and slow and make sure you don't miss any spot. The snake is most likely not going to move around in a brightly lit room so have the lights on and don't panic. If you're slow and careful, you WILL find him. Unless there is an obvious way out of the house/room (cage is close to a door, for example) he is in the room you're in.

I lost a baby carpet python about 2 months ago. She managed to push the plexiglass door of the cage enough to slide out (since fixed, mind you. Silly snakes!). We started searching by the cage and found her about 5ft from the cage, inside a box that I never would have thought she could get to, curled up in a ball in the corner of the box.

Good luck, don't panic and let us know when you find her!

Wow, in all these threads about people looking for a loose ball, I've never heard that before, that sounds like a damn good idea! Of course not everyone has hardwood/tile floors but MAN I bet that'd work like a charm.
