    to the rescue again

    well we went to go get food for our 5 snakes and we happened to look down in the cage beside the door to get the food and there was a ball and it said injured for expierenced owners see employee.. well we saw them and the gave us the snake for free and they said she had bad scale rot but we took her straight to the vet and he believes it a bad burn from mid section to tail... but we are gonna try our damndest to fix this girl... i'll post pics soon..

    Good luck... if it's not too bad it should heal up and be good as new.

    Edit: Looks like it has already started healing... I would bet after a couple sheds it will be just fine.

    How wonderful you took the snake straight off to the vet, best thing in these circumstances really so you can make sure the snake is healing and not brewing a bad belly. I would imagine you'll see some quick sheds as the snake tries to heal itself. Lots of quiet time, plain soft papertowel bedding, lots of clean water and eventually some nice small meals to start off....hopefully you'll have a lovely healthy snake in due time.

    she shed!!,and all was good. her belly almost looks 100%. she has also eaten her first meal with us we will take some new pics of her so all can see her improvement
