    Settelin in!

Well, I thought I'd post an update about Dartanian! I chaned his bedding and he actually seems to like it better, hes in aspen now. Guess they all have diffrent preferences. He still loves when mom (me) takes him out for a mornin hu and before bed hug. I didn't know they were this friendly I got a small box to feed him in when the time comes, so he doesnt swallow aspen.

I think I am on the ball.

Cept the high temp keeps staying Around 90-100 i think that my one meter is broken It doesnt have a sticky pad on the meter like my other new one does. but when they have those readings, hes happy and warm, not hot, its comfortable. so as long as hes not too hot hes ok, he likes it

when i can im replacin the other meter

    EDIT

    His newer setup

I just realized the book on top of his cage is the Bible lol

    Re: Settelin in!

keeping your temps constant is pretty important, of course the weather changes and it will go up with the warmer weather... but a range of 90-100 is too broad IMO.

i know nothing about tank setups... as i use bins... but i do love aspen.

you only have one hide... you need two identical hides for your snake and if the tank you have is the right size, then i'm guessing your hide is way too big. you want a snug hide for him.

    how's your humidity levels?

and trust me... you snake is digesting bones, fur and teeth... a piece or two of aspen isn't going to bother it at all! you can feed in the tank with no problems.

    Re: Settelin in!

thats the thing when it says 99 on that one the other is in the 80s i think my thermometer is broke
one side stays bout 40% and the broken one is as low as 20

    seems a bit off

I TRIED to buy a lid for a bigger cae but like i told you, that guy is arguing with me. Darty is 2foot or more long and that cage is IMO to small! thats the correct size hide!

    I wanna Friggin slap larry

the first imma oto another pet shop far off and get him a lid for his big tank and new stuff

:cens0r::cens0r::cens0r::cens0r: larry, Darty is important to me. sadly mom cant drive shes having back problems and hes happy atm so yea
