Vet Visit on Saturday - Any Ideas

My oddball now has something hard inside him that is showing a protrusion on the side. It feels hard and moves a bit. Got a vet appointment for Saturday (soonest I can get in). Any idea what may be causing this?
He hasn't eaten yet but still had a swell from the yolk when I got him. Could something have happened with the yolk?

A picture might help? Maybe a broken rib?

Well hmmmmm. In looking at the pics I don't think it is a broken rib anymore (since it is on both sides)...

What type of substrate is she on? (try to think of some sort of blockage?)

I would think perhaps a tumor...but then you said it was hard so I just don't know. Hopefully someone else will chime in with an idea.

    I have him on newspaper.

I think it's "hard belly" where the yolk doesn't fully absorb and hardens.
Unfortunately it is almost always fatal.
Seems to be a problem with CH animals. They apparently pull them out of the eggs to soon to fill orders.

I'm hoping it can be surgically removed and they can do it right away instead of me having to wait. I refuse to lose this one and will do everything I can to save him.

Look at him. He is awesome and I do not want to watch him slowly die on me.

I have no experience with anything like that, so can't begin to offer ideas or suggestions.....just a shoulder. Looks scary and I will send along all my hopes and best wishes that it is treatable and the handsome little guy makes a full recovery!

Trying to find somewhere else that can take me earlier that doesn't have the prima donna attitude that these guys do.
