I'm still waiting on my thermostat to arrive (unfortunately the ordering was all out of whack and now I've got a snake before a heating element... >_<) but until then I'll just use a heating pad under her tub. Any other "home remedies" are welcome and encouraged.

Where are you getting your tstat through? If you're having issues I'd cancel your order and contact Rich at Reptile Basics...you'd have your tstat in no time! Rich is a great guy to work with...and ultra speedy.

Next time might be wise to get all the pieces of equipment before you order the animal.
