    If you need a laugh...

Thought you might find this amusing:

I have just successfully taught my parrot to go "PEW PEW PEW!!!" when I tell him to fire the lasers.

I'm trying to get a voice recording but he ALWAYS KNOWS when I have the machine on...

    >_> ... He's too smart for me...

ha ha.. thats too funny.. can't wait to hear that recording. I had taught my one cockatiel to do the wolf whistle, and of course she did it an any inappropriate moment possible. Like she knew it would embarress me.

Re: If you need a laugh...

We had a little green budgie bird when I was a kid that talked a blue streak. Petey could whistle and call our dog, it drove her nuts btw, said "want a beer", "peter pretty bird", made kissy sounds when he wanted your attention, rode around on a little wind up car and a ton of other words and sounds. If he wanted out and we didn't let him out to fly around, he'd retreat to his perch, sit there sadly with his little bell on his head and mutter "pretty bird" to himself like he was reassuring himself he was really okay or something. Totally hilarious!

He lived to an incredibly old age for a budgie and was just a wonderful little feathered friend. Can't wait to hear your recordings of your bird!
