What should I do?
so i just found out today that i'm going to be going home for school now (Home=Hawaii=NO snakes allowed). I thought Aurora would be alright with my roomates, but apparantely they're heading in seperate directions as well and can't take her. Now, i checked with the petstores we've been going to for feeder rats, etc. and they only accepts animals/setups as donations or store credit, and i figured we wouldn't need store credit since we won't be living here anymore. we also agreed that it would be nice to get some money back since the entire deal (BP, 60 gallon tank, substrate, cermaic heat lamp, heat lamp, water bowl, branch, thermometers, etc.) was $260 yeah, we got a really good deal, seeing how she's a little over 3 feet and is easy to handle and eats pretty much every week--->but we'd still be interested in getting our money back, maybe even a profit one of the petstore guys recommended putting an add in a pennysaver magazine...is this pretty much all i can do? leaving donating Aurora as the last option.

you never know your luck, try talking to your parents about it.i was always told no snaked are ever coming into our house, first i got a corn snake(mom freaked) now she loves it but dont touch it.then i got the BP.she is ill now but my mom is just as worried as i am.she loves snakes but wont touch them.she always asks about em , how they are eating.just ask them and they might be ok with it once they know the viv is secure.

man...she just shed too---one piece this situation really bothers me because it's out of the blue, and we never expected to be leaving so soon. it sucks for Aurora too because she's so comfortable right now, i'm gonna cry when we find a new owner for her.

yha you dont even want to chanece taking her there because if they find her they will fine you and put her down. that would be mega sucky. place an ad in the classifides section on here someone will pick her up. the cage and other stuff you may have to eat or put in a penny saver but at least you would know she had a good home.

Re: What should I do?
that's what i was thinking of doing, but i don't know the first thing about sending a snake through the mail, and the other thing is that i'd actually have to find someone within the month because that's when i'm going to Hawai'i (June 12th)...has anyone here bought/sold a BP on her successfully?
