    Question Is she a fatty?

Alright, I have read alot of things about bp's being obese and the problems that can be caused by it. I've read threads where people asked about the shape of the snake when on a surface, whether it's triangular etc. Well... I can't help but think my little girl is getting on the heavy side. She's not showing white between her scales except right along her spine when she coils up. She's been on a diet of a adult mouse once a week, which I believe to be normal for her size. Maybe it's just the usual worrying nature of any pet owner, I'm just curious about y'alls opinion.

Yea... It's just that she's 8 months old, yet she's 34 inches long and of decent weight (need scale). BTW, she's empty in the photos, and the second pic shows just how wide of a triangle her girth is. She's grows noticeablye every shed.

She doesn't look fat to me. If you're really concerned, you can also weigh her on a digital scale and see where she is. It is a great tool to have to monitor their health, too.

    nice looking BP, too!

I'm not too concerned, atleast until its no longer a question whether or not she's on the heavy side and I see those sure-fire fatty signs. lol. I guess I was more wondering whether she's on the heavy side of the equation. I'm not used to heavy bodied snakes. Only other snakes I've are owned kings, corns, and boas which are not exactly "thick" snakes. lol

But hey, she's got a killer appetite. I'm giving her mice of appropriate size yet she just sits there staring at me when she's done like she's expecting me to give her another go.
