    Ball Furnishing??

    Well, I have a 3 foot ball in a 75 gallon tank.

I got a nice size piece of wood in there and one of those heavy rock like water bowls with some kind of bedding (forget the name).

Just seems a lil on the boring side.

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions?

Or maybe some pics of there tank setups.

Thnx. O I'm new here to. Great looking site.

Wow...a 75 Gal is a HUGE tank. How are you able to keep the proper temps and humidity? What are you using for heat?

As to your question...no photos but I would start by putting a background on the tank...if you want to spend some money you can actually get one of the 3D ones that mount inside the tank...look very cool.

More hides, fake plants and more wood will help to take up space and look less boring.

How about a picture of what it looks like today?

Yeah it's pretty big. I bought it for her cause the other just looked too small.

As for the temps. I got 1 heatlamp that I keep on throughout the day and at night I keep a small heating pad on. Though since the upgrade I never purchased a bigger heating pad which I'm going to do near summer's end cause my apartment gets up to 90 degrees in the summer cause my landlord is too cheap to fix the electric sockets so I can put 2 AC's in there.

In the winter I made a nice size plexi glass piece that I insert in between the 2 screeens to keep the heat in.

    As for the humidity....

Never really paid attn to it. She is about 7 years old so I guess things in Philly are cool.

That doesn't appear to be a 75 gal tank? Maybe closer to a 20 or 40 gal breeder tank? Are you sure of its size?

OIC...Well where to start. Here is a link to the Ball Python Care Sheet. Ball's have very specific heat/humidity requirements. The fact that you aren't monitoring them and you aren't using anything to regulate them could also be a reason why your ball has such a strange feeding response (every 3 weeks and taking time off in the Winter...other post)

If you are interested in getting him setup correctly we can help?

No lie. Length is about a 4 feet and the depth is about a foot and a half.

Pic does make it look alot smaller though.

I may be wrong but i will def measure when I get home now cause you have me second guessing myself.

    Well your size estimates are right for a 75. 48" x 18" x 21"

So maybe it is just the picture...but using what is around it (the heat light, height to the door, etc.) just still seems much smaller.
