Feeding This Monday! Have one ?
How many mice should I feed him? Hes still young and I know I need small mice the petstore guy told me two mice. Does that sound right?

If they are small and you think he needs two then try it. Just make sure that your snake fully consumes the first mouse before offering the second one to him. If he eats and goes off to his hide then he's not interested. Hopefully you have a holding tank available (with a water bottle and appropriate food) in case he rejects the second course.

How long can mice go without food? I'm sure you could leave it for a couple days

That would be pretty cruel. Mice will eat pretty much anything... no sense in starving it.

the more weight they lose, the less nutrients your snake gets once he eats em.
i'd throw some sandwich meat in there to plump them up a little.

Re: Feeding This Monday! Have one ?
My BP was fed last thursday and I am feeding it this monday so I think he will be able to eat two, but my other question was should I feed him at night or durring the day?

Re: Feeding This Monday! Have one ?
If you are holding over live prey items you should be responsible for their humane care. That includes fresh water, appropriate food and clean bedding.
BP's are nocturnal by nature. Personally we feed after dark.
