    Still going (and taking names)

    Hello all,
    Oh how I've missed you
I am doing well. I just received a new position at Beckettvet.com Large and small animal practice no herps though
I have had to seperate myself from the home in Manchester including the rescue for the time being as Winslow is let's say not so civil. I have left everything there, including Lunch the cat for Griffin, sadly I have not had visitation with my little man (either Griffin or Lunch). Winslow tends to use such visits for his own advantage so I told him we either need regular scheduled visits or nothing. Sadly he has not agreed to this yet. These are the only things I'll be asking for in court. Besides the rescue rights. Legally I have the upperhand in all three cases except for visits with Griffin as sadly I never legally adopted him.
Anyhow that's some sad news, the good news is the great new job, and I have found a great new best mate who's shoulder has been needed lately and greatly appreciated. He volunteered at the rescue over the summer and saw most of the "happenings" with the rescue and our private lives. So he has been a much needed friend.
I will check in from now and again, Soon I will have my own place again ( I have been staying with some good friends) and then I'll be able to get into the swing of things.
To all who know me please know that I am doing very well for myself and feel very liberated in doing so.
I miss you all (and my favorite coldblooded friends)
Any of you are welcome to call, wether to say hello or even if you don't know me that well please feel free to call with any herp questions (I miss all the herp questions..lol)

Rusty! Great to hear from ya! I was just thinking the other day if everything was alright with you. I'm glad to hear that you found a new job...and I'm sorry to hear about the predicaments you're having to face currently. I hope and wish that everything resolves to your satisfaction and happiness.. and we hope to see you around here more often! Once again glad to hear from ya!

Re: Still going (and taking names)

Rusty it's so good to see your post. I ache for the sadness of this time for you and I know how awful it is to get into a court battle over visitation, there's just no way to adequately put it in these few words other than my heart hurts for yours honey. Be strong, know you are right in what you've chosen for your life even if sometimes there are very tough days and nights.

On the good side it's great to hear you've got a job you love, good friends to stay with, a friend with a strong shoulder to lean on when you need too, and your own inner strength to be very proud of. Please stay in touch.
