    digestive period of a BP

    i've always wondered, you know how you are suppose to wait 48 hours after feeding to handle your BP. well, who researched this. did some scientist research the digestive period ?

    Yes. There is an article, which I can't find right now, that shows how the heart and other organs enlarge to accommodate the increased metabolic needs. It was based on corn snake studies though. The was another article saying similiar findings on a large constrictor. (I lost a lot of my links when my last computer died )
