    Axanthic bp pictures..

Can you all post some pictures of the axanthics you have. i know there are different lines.. but what is the difference between the VPI, SnakeKeeper & Jolliff Line. I have heard they are all incompatable?

Do you mean xanthics or axanthics?

Since you mention those three lines, I figure you are talking axanthics. An xanthic ball python would be a caramel albino.

    Re: Xanthic bp pictures..

There are two more lines that I have heard of as well. The D&M line and the NERD line. To the best of my knowledge, Kevin and Kara(NERD) have not bred there line to any of the others, and therefore have not proved compatibility or incompatibility. The VPI, Snakekeeper and Joliff lines have proven incompatible. I have heard, but have never seen any proof, that the D&M and Snakekeeper lines are compatible. Hope that helps, and here are some pics of my VPI line animals.
These are some of my VPI Line babies from last year.

Here is the father of that baby group, breeding this year.

    Re: Xanthic bp pictures..

This may be a goofy question, but what do you mean by they are 'incompatable'? As in they won't produce the color morph, or they won't breed, or something else? And I thought that the name of the line was just who had proved that morph...

    Re: Xanthic bp pictures..

Thanks for the compliments Jon, and good luck on that Pastel Axanthic project. I hope to do that soon as well. Thanks Emilio, they are one of my favorite morphs.

Shannon, by incompatible I mean that if you breed a Joliff Axanthic to a VPI Axanthic, you will not hatch any Axanthics. Also with the Snakekeeper to Joliff or Snakekeeper to VPI. Hope that helps.
