Anatomy of a "lock" (*** Dialup Warning ***)

This was cool ... 30 minutes after pairing one of my spiders with this hypo girl this morning, I managed to capture a couple shots of the progress of the "lock" ... I was pleased with these pictures out of the sequence.

I could almost hear the spider talking to her ....

"Of course I'll call you tomorrow"


"C'mon now, I LOVE YOU"


"When I get back to my tub, I'm going to need to eat and then take a nap"
