Wow...That article is pretty shocking!! Especially since Eukanuba & Iams are pretty decent brands! I really feel for the effected owners! I know I'd be heartbroken if that happened to me!

But am I reading this article correctly, the only effected food is wet “cuts and gravy” style food??

My sister feeds her pup Eukanuba puppy food. I gave her the number that was listed for concerned consumers to call. Just in case.

When we get recalls at work they tell us to look at the specfic code date"The recalled products bear the code dates of 6339 through 7073 followed by the plant code 4197, P&G said" if she has these on her pet food i would not use it personaly.

I saw this in the paper. Luckily, I feed my dog this special, flavorless, colorless food because she has some food allergies.

And wheat gluten is a good source of food allergies, yay. Why I buy Wellness

Purina Beneful also had a recall earlier(it's crap regardless, but still). Dogs were being poisoned by the mold(mycotoxins, aflatoxins, etc) on the corn in the food.

For those of you who feed canned, double check that list! The cans I have were not on the list two days ago but are on there now- thank GOD I hadn't used them yet.

I couldn't imagine anyone ever actually buying that stuff.
Then again, most people don't pay attention to what they feed their animals.
