    Stress ?

Don't B.Ps get stressed when their in a rack system, so far all i see is no hides just a water dish ( NOT BIG ENOUGH TO WOKE IT) and news paper substrate, so how do you breeders keep ur snakes in shape, with seeminly bad setups ?

Well I don't breed yet but do have a rack.

No BP are not stress in rack system.

Fact is BP do better in smaller enclosures, and I can assure you that people keeping their BP in a rack have BP as healthy as anyone else.

Their is not only one way to keep BP and as long as a BP is healthy, stress free and feeding this is what matter.

So how much better is your setup since rack are bad setups ?

Mines is standard, I don't breed was , but I was looking into collecting and thought about a rack and maybe even some breeding. I allway wondered if the rack setup affected the snakes health negatively....

I don't own a rack...but I imagine since most breeders, who have healthy stock year-to-year use racks almost exclusively...they're a-okay for BPs

The idea is that because of the secure, dark environment, the tub itself acts like one big hide, so there's no need for hides in a rack system--and because it's like the're perpetually living in a hide, they feel safe.

No it does not it offer more security then other enclosure and you can still provide them with hides in a rack I do, I provide them with one hide, not everyone does, it is just a question of preference.

Acutally, I've found that one of my ball pythons did much better in a rack system. I have an enclosed rack system and it seemed to provide more security than the rubbermaid she was in before.
