Well Finally!
Finally I have mouse pinks! One of the two albino females we bought last week (which were both obviously preggo) has given birth. I haven't a clue how many there are and I'm not about to touch them to count them - a quick peek looks to be maybe 8 to 10? The other female seems to be helping the momma mouse and looks ready to pop herself at any moment. I'm just leaving them be, feeding and watering and staying the heck away from them so nobody needs to eat anybody (you hear that you silly mice!!!!)
Now if the male albino does his job perhaps Foxy, Taffy and Happy (my three original silkie female mice) will finally produce some mice for the snakes. Oh and the two new female albino mice are named Meenie and Miney, Moe is the male albino....we apparently now need an Eenie! LOL

Re: Well Finally!
Thanks all! Well I hope it is Sarah. These two females techinically were not bred at our house as we bought them already obviously pregnant but hopefully this will break my bad luck with mouse breeding thing.

Re: Well Finally!
Thanks Joe. You know it's ridiculous...rats and mice are both rodents! The rats...they just go happily about their rattie lives, regularily producing lovely litters of feeders for Mike and I. Not much of a worry there at all. These dang little mice are nothing but a worry. You look at them crosseyed, they eat their young! Makes you wonder how come there are a ton of mice in the world doesn't it LOL.
I'm going to peek into Meenie and Miney's little mouse house today and see how the one litter is and if the other female has delivered yet. Wish me luck. *grumbles - rats are soooo much easier to manage*
