Quick question
I am always keeping my eyes open for a new herp to obtain and the idea of a Crested intrigues me.
Just a few questions.
UV lighting can be used but isn't nessciary, right?
Also can T-Rex Crested Gecko Diet be used through out the life of a Crested?
Finally if the t-rex diet can be used through life, are crickets needed? Are there any other types of bugs, such as meal worms or something that can be eaten?
Thanks much.

It's been a while since i had crested geckos, but based on my memory, i'll try to answer your questions.
Not sure about UV lighting. I don't believe i used UV.
Yes I used T-Rex CGD from the day i acquired them till the day I sold them. I'm sure they're still on it
every other feeding i fed crickets covered in calcium powder (or mealworms) and baby food with a side of CGD. I believe it's important for them to still get mealworms and crickets...I alternated the live food with liquid diet..ie:
Monday: CGD and baby food
Wednesday: Crickets/Mealworms
Friday: CGD and Baby food
Sunday: Crickets/Mealworms
you get the point
I bet Emily (mlededee) could answer your questions a little more thoroughly...she only has about 70 cresteds or so...

They sound super easy to care for and are super cute too! I think they maybe my next purchase. Now what breeders do you suggest?
