Re: My First Love - Kashmire
Great looking boy, and I understand how you feel out of my 10, my favorite is my one and only normal male even though I have some Pastels and a Spider.
It's all about the personnality more than it is the look.

Re: My First Love - Kashmire
Kashmire was my first ball python - he's nothing special, just a sweet normal male. He's been my pickiest eater - fasted for eight months last year and still the one most likely to refuse, and will only eat mice, and only ONE a week. So he's my smallest '05 - he's more the size of my '06's, and that's ok!
I can sympathize with ya Robin. (although I object to the nothing special part, as I think he's definitely special. ) My first girl, Tigerlily, is my pickiest eater and will only eat small f/t mice when she deems it appropriate to eat. She's the same way and will only eat one at a time, and usually only in her hide. I still love her as she's my first.

Re: My First Love - Kashmire
I really like the pics and the snakes.
My favorite is also the first one I ever got, which also happens to be a normal male. I don't think I could ever get rid of him. He sometime refuses to eat but I have a few females that always eat what he doesn't.

Even with just one mouse a week he looks like he's growing nicely Robin. Gotta love the normal males, great pets!
Post some of those other beauties you have lying around.

Nice pics and he is great looking snake. Gotta love the stubborn ones though it shows they have some character haha.

Re: My First Love - Kashmire
Awww, thank you all! I always say that Kashmire is the one that keeps me humble with my care of these awesome creatures. He keeps me from getting too comfortable that I'm doing everything right, which is a good thing!
He is definitely the most laid back dude in my collection - and he'll always have a home with me.
When I say he's nothing special - he's not het for anything, and he's the most plain looking guy, but he's definitely my heart snake!

I've got some pictures laying around that have been posted before, but I assume you're asking for new ones. I'm waiting for Winston to shed (just starting his shed cycle) and want to get new pictures of him, and some of the girls are also in shed. I'll try to get some new pictures soon!
Thanks again for the kind words on Kashmire!

There's the cutie! He'll always have a special place in my heart too Robin. I remember when you first got him and all the worry surrounding his health and refusal to eat. He really is coming along beautifully and I know he'll always have a wonderful home with you and Karl.

Yup, the poor guy went through a lot when I first got him. As I remember, it was Adam and Becky to the rescue when he re-gurged his first meal with me. All the wonderful help here is what sold me on this forum!
